Sister Bonnie Blue Opens 9th Food Bank
ROME — October 18, 2065

Sister Bonnie Blue, now a familiar face at ribbon cuttings across Europe, opened her ninth “Chow Down” food bank today, expanding a mission to feed the hungry with industrial efficiency and inconvenient kindness.
“I can’t stand to see anyone hungry,” Sister Blue said. “I know I feel much better when I’m stuffed.”
Since launching Chow Down in 2059, the organization has distributed more than 200 million meals worldwide, powered by volunteer brigades, surplus-capture logistics, and a donor network that insists anonymity is “the holiest marketing strategy.”
The Vatican praised the new Rome site as “a miracle of second chances and well-balanced meal plans.”
While her past is rarely discussed, Sister Blue herself remains lighthearted.
“I always wanted to be a nun,” Sister Blue added with a smile. “I just had to get that out of—or should I say into—my system.”
Officials confirmed a tenth location is planned for Paris next spring, describing it as “a ministry of mercy, forgiveness, and excellent timing.
